Our Client are based in Avonmouth and are looking to expand their Team. The Brand Manager & Business Development person will be working alongside the Divisional Manager so no experience in the industry is required.
Identity is important for any product in today’s competitive marketplace. Brand managers are concerned with creating a lasting impression among customers and improving product sales and market share.
A brand manager monitors market trends and oversees advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for their product or service.
A brand manager should:
• have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts
• have good analytical skills
• be a good listener, able to respond to results and customer research/feedback
• be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• be enthusiastic about their product area.
What is the work like?
Duties to include:
o Identifying potential products that fit within the brand to launch into the market.
o Monitor market trends.
o Analyzing the pricing of products and assessing the potential profitability.
o Co-coordinating product launches including involvement in all the product development stages.
o Delivering presentations.
o Promoting the brands via various trade events (trade days, roadshows, breakfast mornings).
o Formulating ideas for new packaging & point of sale designs.
o Liaising with marketing department to create & adhere to a yearly marketing plan to include
• Production of magazine advertorials
• Email campaigns
• Website content
• Exhibition stands
• Presentation content.
o In conjunction with the Marketing Dept, oversee, commercially manage and regularly update all social media platform content.
o In conjunction with the Brand Manager and Marketing Dept, the main business catalogues are to be completed annually to support all new product releases and keep our customers literature current and up to date.
Regular progress updates to the Divisional Manager should be concluded. Any negative comments or criticism received on social media platforms should also be reported to the Divisional Manager.
