Veterinary Training Coordinator, UK Bristol

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to recent rapid growth, a specialist veterinary equipment supplies company.

Our Company:

Our Client is member of the Movora group of veterinary companies based in Wrington, Somerset (near Bristol Airport/Langford Vet School). Suppliers of cutting-edge veterinary equipment and delivering premium products to specialist veterinary professionals, we’re known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike. The veterinary division consists of 2 x Directors, 1 x Vet Tech (RVN) and 1 x Specialist Administrator, but due to our success we need your help to coordinate and run the numerous veterinary training courses we have scheduled as well as assist with clinical queries during the ordering process.

Remuneration:

Pay range: £22k – £24k (depending on experience)

Hours of work: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday

There will be occasional weekend work if a training course is held on a weekend.

Whilst employed your nursing registration will be kept up to date, as well as access to CPD events.

Our requirements:

· A confident, dynamic, driven individual, looking to move or expand their knowledge in the commercial veterinary sector. Having worked in a veterinary nursing capacity with orthopaedic and soft tissue experience, the successful candidate will have good basic computer knowledge (email, word processing and web browsing) as well as strong written and oral communication skills. This is a fast-paced, vibrant environment and you will soon become an integral part of the ever-expanding department.

· Veterinary nursing including Orthopaedics and soft tissue knowledge

· Multi-tasking abilities

· Computer literate – email, word and web browsing

· Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities once trained:

· Coordinating all training courses in terms of equipment and registrations. Being responsible for the successful delivery of both zoom based and practical hands on courses. Supporting the vet/speaker delivering the courses to make the training course as enjoyable as possible.

· Assisting the veterinary sales team

· Prepare and follow up on sales quotations

· Be able to efficiently respond to any veterinary online or telephone queries in a calm friendly and informed manner

· Take veterinary orders, give prices and assist on product coding

· Keep up to date with new procedures and advise accordingly

· Attending exhibitions/CPD events as and when required
